It has four BRI ports or one BRI port, as well as a V.35 port, an RS232 serial port, and two Gigabit Ethernet ports. Up to four RealPresence Group systems can use a single ISDN Gateway as a shared gateway. It translates between H.323 IP signals and H.320 digital signals, using AES-128 media encryption to secure transmissions.

The Polycom ISDN Gateway gives you a secure solution for doing video calls with endpoints on digital networks, giving you up to 1080p30 Full HD video quality. The gateways is a PoE+ device, and Polycom includes a PoE injector in the package to make powering the gateway simple. Polycom 7230-84280-001 is compatible with the Polycom RealPresence Group 300, 310, 500, 550 and 700 video conferencing systems.
